Congratulations on the second issue. I purchased my 2nd issue at a local bakery. I am going to subscribe to your magazine.

Your magazine is the "Vogue " magazine for anyone interested in the cake field.

CC members the one year subscription is worth it. High quality magazine beautiful photos, and great ideas for inspiration.

Jackie and Heath thank you for creating the cc forum and thank you so much for publishing this magazine.


I used my tax refund to buy your one year subscription. It is worth it.

dejehr- I think they would have let you know...did you ask? I was told my cakes would be in. Then again, I did have to ask separately. I have no idea about anything else though. No idea of layout or how many or how big. It's a bit of a mystery. if I'm lucky enough to get in again, I think I'll have to get those details so I don't make myself so nuts. It's so close to being here now, that I'll wait for the surprise.l I hope its a good one! going to check my mail box right now!

I did ask. When I first sent in the pictures Jackie replied that she was very confident they would be in. But she had to wait for the day before printing to be sure. So I sent two e-mails after that one but never got an answer. So I'm still totally in the dark about that. Or would them not replying mean that my cupcakes are not in the magazine????

Hm... I don't know. Makes me wonder if mine won't be in too. Hopefully they will streamline the process a little better as the magazine goes. They are using our work to make $$ (and I was thrilled to be asked and happy to do it for free), but it would be nice get a little more info back after putting so much time into making the cakes (cupcakes in your world). honestly, i'm still really excited to simply be in the running though! its the suspense thats killing me! Ha ha!

they asked me to make a cake too. I spent hours on it and had a photographer to come in and take the pictures. That was a month ago and no one has e-mailed me back to let me know that it really is going to be in there. I have asked twice and nothing, all that work to just be hanging in the wind.

For the folks who didnt beleive their post office was that bad...it is. We wont use the post office unless the receiver takes full responsiblity. It is not like me to say anything negative about anyone, but after shipping all our first magazines out using Priority Mail by USPS, they lost so many that I had to switch to Fedex. Now, when you order your single issue through us, though shipping is $2.00 more than it was for the first issue, we can now track them and get instant results. If they loose one, we know within a short period of time, we are not waiting until it might get there and claims are easy. Though our shipping is $7.00, you can be sure you will get yours in a timely matter. The magazine rocks! I love it. It really has class. Cake Central you are suburb!

I can't wait to get mine! I'm on pins & needles here! I too was asked to make a cake and I don't know if it made it into the magazine or not. But then, I haven't asked either....
Off to do that now!
