I'm probably making this harder than it really is......

I am trying to figure out how to attach wire to gumpaste Forget-Me-Nots that I am making, and I am having trouble figuring out how to do it. If anyone has any suggestions, I would truly appreciate it!!

Thank you!
Chelle

I make a small ball of green and make a little, squat cone out of it and stick it on the back of the flower. The wire goes goes into that piece of green.

Try making them using the mexican hat method or add a little ball of gp to the bottom and attach the wire into that.

Hi Chelleb,

For very tiny flowers, I use sturdy two sided white stamens with a tiny head. I cut them in two which gives me two 'stems', dip them in glue and pull them through the middle of the gumpaste flower. The head of the stamen stays in the gumpaste. Because forget me not's are so tiny they can easily be held by the stamens, and you can dust the white of the stamens, green. If you let it dry overnight, it works like a rock!
