I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everybody on CC, who replies to the questions asked by every body and all who willing share their knowledge and time.

I have been cake decorating for six months now without the help of CC'ers, I would in no way have got this far. I could not even bake a decent cake six months ago. Now everyone raves about them.

I have suffered with severe depression for sixteen years. Cake decorating has really helped and being able to achieve something in my life and feel good about it is amazing.

Six weeks ago I lost my dad and father in law in one week. Without this wonderful hobby to keep me going, I would have just cracked up.
If I am feeling down I come on to CC, and I am soon lost in the cake world.

So I really needed to say thank you to every body.

Good for you, I love your positive attitude. I am a little bit the same, I have found my passion for cake decorating a little later in life, I so wish I had found it years ago. You can just lose yourself in it, keep going it obviously gives you joy!

cardicard you have been blessed with talent and no one can take that away from you... so if ever you feel down, just remember that and strive to be better at it...leave no room for depression.
