How do you get the edges crisp & squared-off like in this photo? Is it all in the crumb-coating? Thanks!

One of the coolest things I learned on this site and I have used and really like how my cakes turn out with nice crisp edges.
Lay some wax paper or parchment paper down on a board spread forting on top of the paper, then lay your cake on top of this. frost or fill your middle layer , place second layer ontop, crumb coat place in frig until firm, take back out frost the cake, use an edge to get your sides nice and smooth, and this will also give you a sharp edge, place back in frig, firm up, take out of frig. place your serving board on top of the cake ( which is really your bottom) then flip the cake over, what was the bottom of your cake becomes the top, place back in frig firm up, gentally remove wax paper or parchement paper from the top of cake once it is nice and firm. You should have a nice crisp edge. It sure worked for me. But I will be checking the DVD out from the above mentioned post.

AWESOME IDEA & DESCRIPTION! I can see why that would work. Will definitely be giving that a try. I'll look into those videos too. I'm much better with a visual anyway.
