Hello all my bay area lovelies!

I just had a question for you all:

Do you know of any reliable cake/baking supply stores?
I live in the Sunset/Parkside district, so the nearer the better. Of course, I would be willing to venture into the East Bay if its for something fantastic and special...but the commute kinda, well, sucks.

Thank you all very much!

There's Sugar and Spice in Daly City, and Spun Sugar in Berkeley. I know that Spun Sugar rents cake pans, which is kind of cool. Spun Sugar is on University, and although I have yet to make it there the photos of their shop show a HUGE amount of "stuff" that looks way cool. Here's the website for Spun Sugar http://spunsugar.com/cart/index.php?main_page=index

Sugar N Spice is closer to you. Take 19th avenue, and exit Eastmoor I think (I don't even look at the sign anymore) as if you're going to DMV. They have most of the stuff you need, plus they have classes you can take for gumpaste, fondant, sculpting, etc.

Btw, I was wondering if any of you are interested in joining a cake club in the San Mateo County area? I know there is one in Walnut Creek and Fremont, but in my opinion, they're too far. I've been talking to the owner of Sugar n Spice and we're seriously thinking of starting one again. Let me know if you're interested!
