I am such a fan of her work and absolutely love how she presents her cookie trays. Anyone know how many per tray and how much she charges? Love, love love her work.
I emailed her several months ago and asked this very question.I think she said 20 on the plate and she charges a ridiculously LOW price for them also..I asked her why ...that she could command Wayyyyy more and she said in her area and economy she couldn't charge more!!
I think she told me $21.00 a tray...but I may be wrong!
Love her work also..She is on Flickr regularily with lots of more fantastic cookies!!

Thanks so much for the info. I had PM'd her here severel months ago and she kindly responded that she was wicked busy and would get back to me another time. Unfortunately i never heard back from her, which i totally understand. Her work is fabulous. If that is indeed what she charges she needs to bump those prices up..her work is too good for that money.
I've been looking at her work for awhile now and just can't get over how awesome her trays are. I hope to be that good one day.
She is definitely a Cookie Master! I love her work and now she is doing a cookie a day for the next year plus all her other gorgeous platters! I think she deserves wwwaaayyyy more than that for her cookie art!

Couldn't agree more
I've been following the cookie a day thing too...love all the sports ball..very cool
Sharonk, you have to sign up on Flickr and add her as a contact....but be warned if you don't have any pics of you own on there she doesn't have a problem blocking you from seeing her work. (She states this on her profile) She is amazing!
Fabulous cookies, but she ought to be ashamed of herself for not getting paid what they're worth. She's undercutting cookie makers everywhere!
Undercutting?? Why??? She charges what she charges for where she lives! In what way does that affect you? Have you even seen her work??? I find it really appalling that you are talking about a fellow cookier that you don't know in this way.
Thanks for starting this thread, first time I've seen her work. Amazing cookies! $21 for a tray (20) of the cookie pictured on her facebook page cannot be right - they are incredible! Each cookie is so labor intensive; something must be wrong - that would be like paying your customers to take these incredible works of art.
She should be ashamed!?? Curious how you feel it is appropriate to be discussing her like she isn't a person, a wonderful one at that! She is under no obligation to divulge her technique to strangers who bombard her with questions. If you had some random person write you asking you your prices and techniques you would happily reply, I think not.
It's one thing to post a question on platter arranging and how to price cookies here for members to answer it's another to pick apart a person who isn't hear to defend herself! Worry about your own work and never mind what she is doing.
I think her cookies are super fab. I gave up long ago trying to be one of "those" cookie artists. By "those" I mean, they are just meant to do it. Hands down...no argument. Lots of times, they are that talented because they simply: ARE.
So - here's what I do: I look at the pictures of these super fab artists & then say...what do I love about these designs/techniques? THEN, I incorporate the bright colors or combinations of colors that are so appealing to me. I of course, have to use them in MY designs. But...that's supposed to be the fun of doing cookies. Finding your own style.
It's a shame she doesn't get more $$'s for her cookies. If in fact, the posted amount is what she gets. It's really none of our business & obviously she is decorating because she loves to. Not for the dollars. Which is the difference between copiers and artists. Her cookies have that "twinkle". You know, that "wink wink". I've seen it in others' work as well.
I've even seen it once in my own cookies. ONLY once. But, I'm a work in progress! Shoot, I can't get my royal to dry tonight!
Keep it light ladies! And keep searchin' for that "wink wink"!
I love to look at works of art! I wish I had an eye to create edible art like you ladies do.
I will keep working on it!
I so appreciate looking at what others do, it is inspiring. thank you.
