ok,

I tried to make french macarons for easter using the info in the cc mag and another web site........... what a disaster. they came out just little puddles of goo......... icon_cry.gif

then, this week, I discover bakerella did a blog on how to make them (thanks to tartlette)

so I decided to try again.......... they were so easy and yummy.

I worship them both thumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for spelling them correctly (as opposed to 'macaroons')

Ditto on the correct spelling. macaroons are a whole 'nother cookie.

You actually should have titled your thread All hail Tartelette and her macarons! (since they are hers.....)

Oh, I have been wanting to try these for over a year now, but I'm too chicken. Yours look absolutely fabulous!

Me too. I've been wanting to try them every time i saw them at the bakery. Too chicken because they look so difficult. I printed the recipe and am looking forward to trying them out now. Thanks!
