I started selling cookies in October, and most of my business has been through shipping.

Now I'm looking at the warmer months ahead and am thinking - RUH-ROH!

Most of what I sell are sugar cookies, decorated in MMF with RI details. Any tips for shipping in hot weather or is this a disaster waiting to happen?

Great site...Love the doggie treats!! I would be charging more for your cookies and cookie bouquets though..Packaging can add up like cellophane bags, ribbon tissue paper, containers.I would charge at least $2.50-$3.00 per cookie.Pictures are very good...Nice job...Good Luck and I hope you do very well!!

Totally stealing my own thread, but do you guys have any issues loading the galleries? My husband and I are in disagreement about how they should be done, and I find this new way he has them set up has some loading issues.

Are these blog sites or do you have special programs that you load onto your site to add pics?

For shipping in warm weather, i can't imagine fondant to be a problem. I would be more concerned with glace because when i tried to shrink wrap a tray of cookies with a blow dryer, the heat melted the glace.
The best way to tell is if you ship cookies to yourself or to a family or friend in a different state and find out from them how it came.
