HI Guys~
I am making some fondant figures for fellow baker that doesn't work with fondant. I have no idea what to charge...what do you think? I'm make a small baby rattle (5 inch) and a set of baby booties.....
I was thinking $10-$15 for both...does that seem reasonable?
I'd charge at least $25 for the baby booties and probably $10 to $15 for the rattle. Hope this helps.
Ok so not to toot my own horn but, I am really good at making fondant figures, I have made many for family members birthday cakes as toppers, I recently got asked though by someone if I could make one for her sons b-day cake, she then asked how much for the figure, I didnt know what to say, I kinda just went umm well let me get back to you, So I find my self in a dilema on how much to charge, the figure is a big bird from sesame street he will be standing and fairly large, I have already made him and he looks exactly like big bird, so do you think $45.00 is the right amount to charge for him, he took me 1hour to make, so not very long. I personally think this price is ok because making these figures take's skill and patience, plus hes standing! so please reply to this post and tell me what you think and if you think I should charge more
Thanks )
