Mary and Brenda, you have been my greatest inspiration!
I haven't had a moment to sit and write and order my t-shirt until now...
I love to watch you work together, you are such a creative team and I find myself always having to pick my jaw up off of the floor when I see your finished work. True art!!
I can't wait to see how you've grown even more from this tragedy!
My best,
Stacie
I am just speachless... Like others have said I know you both will come back strong! God never closes a door where another one doesnt open. Bless you both..prayers are with you while you rebuild.
Oh, I am so, so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Knowing the magic you can create out of a little flour and sugar, I can't wait to see the beauty that will arise from tears and ashes. God bless you with amazing things. ((((hugs))) -Laura

Hi cakegirls,
Not sure if you will ever see this, but will send it on anyhow.
When I first heard of the burning of your business, I was so saddened for you. Immediately, however, I began to think of the fire, itself, in an allegorical kind of way, if you will.
We, as humans, often look at fire as our enemy...as something that can bring destruction only. However, look at how necessary fire is. It is a natural and necessary part of our ecosystem. Without it much vegetation in forests and elsewhere would eventually cease to exist. What leaves me so awestruck is how after a huge forest fire, new growth begins almost immediately and within just a couple of years (if I am not mistaken) the land, that was once completely scorched and looked completely destroyed has become filled with new vegetation and what's more, there is MORE vegetation than before the fire. Isn't that just a miracle?
In light of this miracle, I wanted to encourage you girls and your staff that life is often like that forest fire. Perhaps all seems to be destroyed when looking with the naked eye, but don't despair because underneath it all, in an unseen place, new life is beginning and within a span of time, things may well be better than they ever have with more growth and "vegetation" than you have ever beheld.
Not sure if I am conveying to you what is on my heart (am not always so great at that), but hope that this concept of more abundant life after "death" will encourage your hearts.
Just think of a seed that goes into the ground, itself. It must first die, within the ground, before life can come forth. Isn't that just something?!
So, if that is in fact what has happened with you guys, then the death part of this process can be put behind you as you hope for, look forward to, and build towards the new life that is ahead. More abundant life.
This is a concept that God, Himself, created. Jesus dying on the cross and then being raised from the dead is the biggest example of this concept ever.
God bless each and everyone of you as you grieve your loss. May He instill each one of your hearts with new found hope as you look forward to what He has in store for you. Great things!
Big Blessings!
