It is a sad day indeed when the cakeworld suffers such a loss. The Cakegirls are true artist, to be but a fraction of how talented they are, I would be greatful. All things, good or bad, have a greater purpose. They may not see it now but I am sure good things will come of this tragedy. Thankfully they were not hurt in the fire. They have lost everything, for now, but material things can be replaced, they cannot. This means the true talent is still alive and well, and I am certain like any true artist, will flourish again in time. For now you are in my thoughts and in my prayers, and I know you will continue to inspire us all with your wonderful works yet to come...

I am shocked and saddened to learn of your bakery fire. Only God knows why this happened. But know that you will rise again like the Phoenix, and your new business will be even better than before. I have just now read about this terrible news. Brenda and Mary, my heart truly goes out to you at this difficult time. Like someone else said, I think people who make cakes REALLY understand the true pain of your loss.

You have a great reputation in the cake world, and I know that you will recover from this. Your customers and fans will be loyal and support you through this. You WILL rebuild, and the cakegirls shop will return, if not surpass, to its former glory.

To all employees at cake girls: no words can express the tragedy you are going through, but we in the cake community are here for you. It is great that they are thinking of their employees and trying to do something to help them during a time that is devastating to them personally. There aren't many people in the world that try to help others while they are in a crisis themselves. Just goes to show what they are truely made of.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences for the loss of your cake shop. It must hurt like crazy to lose something you worked so very hard to build from scratch into the huge success it was.

Ultimately though, it is your business's premises - and just a building. You and your staff are all safe, and your insurance will get you back on your feet, bigger and stronger. I understand there will be mourning and sadness for all that was lost, but I hope ultimately you see this as an opportunity to commence yhe bright new next phase of your successful enterprise. This is so hard for me to hear I have watched and admired these two on cake challenge and Amazing Wedding Cakes, I have even learned from them!
