I have a request for this doll : http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1490965

in a size like a topper for a wedding cake. It needs to sit in the top of the Wilton staircase, the one that has 2 staircases meeting in a platform, like they form an arch over a fountain.

This thing was hand made and took me a LONG TIME. I can't imagine how long it will take to make so much smaller. I have NO CLUE what to charge them. I told them I would try to come up with a few options: 1-totally made from scratch 2-start with a premade doll and make a dress on her. Clearly option 2 would be cheaper. Even so, no idea what to charge.

The only doll I've found is the small doll pick from Wilton. If anyone has a link to a craft doll or small Barbie type doll, I'd appreciate it. I've only found full sized barbies in stores and online, but maybe I'm just no good at searching.

I said I'd get back to them in a few days, so I would really appreciate any and all help.

You are right. Smaller is much more tedious, but I'm not sure it takes me any longer. It just makes my eyes crazy! I don't sell my figures at this point, but if I did, for a bride and groom, I would probably charge at least $100 each. Modeling figures is very time consuming.
