I Did It.... I Think!

I am currently in my first year of cake decorating for people other than family. It has been a HUGE learning curve and when I recieved the phonecall to do a dartboard, well I will admit it scared the life out of me

But today I completed it, and I am so relieved it is over I truly hope that the recipient will be happy with the finished product. It took me forever to get the proportions right and I still think that the top could use some adjusting.

Please give me your feedback, it would be greatly appreciated. As I have had interest already this evening regarding doing more!

Do you think the numbers should have been white instead perhaps? I originally had them white but my brother informed me he had only seen them in silver.

That is spot on, your brother is right, the numbers are silver. Beautiful cake.

From your uncertainty in the OP, I was expecting a hot mess. Imagine my surprise when I opened it and saw a perfectly executed dart board cake! Honestly, it is great. I don't see anything that needs adjusting and I'm not surprised that more people are inquiring.

Thank you so much for all your replies. You have really helped ease the nerves I had about this cake.

The birthday boy is to collect it today, and after reading your responses I feel alot more confident about handing this one over.
