I would like to make a cake using the bailey's irish creamer, which is in liquid form. I use a cake mix and want to doctor it. I have searched the recipes but can't find one using liquid creamer. Does anyone have a recipe they would like to share. TIA.
I use half & half or flavored liquid coffee creamer in all of my cakes, just use the same amount as the recipe calls for water.
Agree with the above. I make a pumpkin spice cake around the holidays with the pumpkin spice creamer and I replace all of the water with the creamer. I then add in a box of the Jello Pudding that is Pumpking spice also. one of my favorites!!
you can also use the powdered (my preference because it's shelf stable).........then if you don't need the whole container it keeps for EVER!!
I've made the RED VELVET WASC (MacsMom version) and it calls for vanilla coffee creamer. It turns out very nice and moist. I think you can substitute just about any liquid in a cake. It's worth a try, if it doesn't work, please let us know.
Most of the "Cake Dr's" recipes call for this kind of subsitution.
It works & taste great.
If using a scratch recipe be careful of the amounts & adjust accordingly. I've used Baileys (liquor & creamer) in all my recipes & find it completely Yummy! :0)
Here's one from Recipezaar. You can substitute with the creamer.

I substitute all my liquid with those flavoured creamers. I have never had a problem. I also use pop in kid's flavours if I need orange crush, root beer etc...that with a boost of the flavour from the LoRann flavour company and voila, a flavoured cake that everyone loves.
Good luck Claire
