Just fell across Reynolds new cupcake liners called "Baked for you."
Anyone try them and have any experiences they want to share - good or bad?

Haven't seen these but LOVE the idea of having liners that keep their bright colors and designs. HOW Great!! Have you seen them in stores yet?

I only have seen their regular liners in the grocery but not these specialty ones. Looks as though you can order them online though...i think I may have to order a set.......

They look nice but they're a little pricey. 36 liners for $2.50 is a bit much IMO.

I like them. They are a bit thicker/stiffer and greaseproof. A bit pricey, but if the cupcake is supposed to be a big part of your decos, definitely worth it. Reynolds isn't the first company to do this. Some company in Sweden started selling to Beryl's and Country Kitchen a few years back. Check around the cupcake supply sites...the price is a bit more attractive.

Reynolds are better than generic and even Wilton are okay, no real problems but I ordered some from Country Kitchen Sweet Art because I was looking for black and theirs are great. They were quality paper and fit right in the tins--for me with most liners, they kind of sit "out" the tin and I have to push them into place or the batter will push them down.

I haven't seen these but I love them and will be ordering some. Thanks for the info.

Z..do you have a problem with the liners-that-are-too-large-for-pan coming off when cooling? I have seen millions of questions (and answers) on the topic and that is what happens at my house. No problems with the ones that DO fit. Just wondering.

The glassine ones are SUPER thin, and fade like crazy when you bake in them. I made the mistake of buying them for a cupcake tower I did, and NEVER AGAIN!!

I like the thick greaseproof ones from Fancy Flours. They're the best I've found anywhere. They don't fade or become greasy at all. I used them on the raspberry tower, and the purple and black wedding tower in my photos.

Wow, thanks for the tip on the glassine liners. I know to stay away from them now.

The glassine are like peanut butter cup paper...some great colors, tho to use to display candies and mini cakes.

I have used the Reynold's cupcake liners and think they are just awesome!! I found mine at Weagman's. I wish I bought more!!

I got mine at Wegmans. Funny how you have a Weagmans in CA and a Wegmans here. I know that Wegmans is a local, privately owned grocery chain not in CA, but I thought the same name thing was funny.

Back to the cupcake liners. I got the pirate ones. They are foil inside fused to paper on the outside. I haven't used them yet. The outside says that there is no need for a muffin pan, just place them on a baking sheet.

Sorry, I was in NY when I got mine....that's why I should have bought more! (it's just across the border for me.) We don't have a Wegman's here. ( I spelled it wrong too) :0

LOL! Gotta love that Weggies, huh? Which town did you visit Wegmans? Rochester, Buffalo? Did you get to the Pittsford Wegmans, the Mother Ship?

Whenever we leave the area, the first thing we miss is Wegmans. They are not all great. The one by me is terrible, I go to another one a few more minutes away cause it is so much better. They keep them they way they are based on what the shoppers in the area like. So some are small and grocery like and some are shopping experiences.

I do love them!!! I go to the one in Syracuse. It's only a few hours from me. I haven't been to any others so I have only experienced that one. I think they are terrific!

I love the new Reynolds cups! They stay vibrant and definetly not greasy. The designs are very nice too. High quality.

Kello, if you have a Zehrs near by they carry the reynolds liners for cupcakes. I also have found them at Metro (don't know if you have one near you). Hope that helps. I love using them. Funny that most of my caking supply stuff comes from the states. I tend to travel to Buffalo, since the Fort Erie crossing is almost on my front door step LOL.

LindaF144, Glad you like Ottawa. I really love it too. The Byward Market is probably where you were...great pubs and restaurants....and you only have to be 19 here to drink....you can always bring your daughter early.

I buy most of my cake supplies from the states too. So much more variety.

i just test drove these yeseterday. i used the brown with polka dots with the lining and they stayed color true and they were easy to unwrap (other foils i have tried were a pain in the behind to get off the cupcake). i loved them.

bought mine at market basket.
