Hi everyone. I'm a self taught, and still learning decorator. I am loving this site! For my grandson's first birthday, we're planning on a King of the Jungle theme. I decided to do a giant cc decorated as a lion for his personal cake and regular cc for the guests, made of other animals. I'd like to do all of the critters out of bc. I am worried about how to create the mane out of bc. His birthday is in May, and we live in Texas with no a/c. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I would use what are called grass tips. The wilton tip is #233 but I found a larger grass tip #234 that is great for fur.

In reality any tip would work. After all its the illusion of fur that you want often the color and length is enough to convey that.
