I'm trying to find directions or a video on how to make a rope border on a cake. Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

I use a clay extruder. I have the green one that is made by Makins. You can also do other cool things with it as well.

She does several, the rope is the 4th. HTH.

Hi there, The rope technique is a like a series of S"s linked together. See Wilton.com and look under buttercream decorating techniques. I have posted the link here to make it easier if it does not work try www.wilton.com. Here is the direct link http://www.wilton.com/technique/Rope

I don't know what makes it so hard for me, but I find the bc rope the hardest bc technique to do. Others seem to whip it out w/o issue, but mine always look craptastic! icon_redface.gif
