I don't understand what you mean about gluing the skewer onto the cup in the right position. What is the skewer being held up by? Is the skewer poking through the cup and then glued into the pot? That would make sense. Help me out, I'm having issues getting my outer rim of cupcakes staying inside the cups! But, I did make a mini version that came out very cute! And the larger version is coming along, if only I can get the cupcakes not to fall it will be perfect! Thanks for any help!

AI used plant pots with quite a big circumference, I think it was about 6inches. This held the cups quite nicely and the angle wasn't too steep. I covered the gap with tissue paper. I had so many people asking for individual messages on them that I thought the pics and cards were perfect!

Hello I would just like to thank you for this tutorial and also I would like to know if you have anything in the bottom of the pails to hold the cups with the toothpicks, or you just have them glue and squeezed into the pails to stick. thank you, tae

I put a dab of frosting in the bottom of the cups to help secure the cupcakes. The cups are hot glued to the pot.
