Ever since I saw this thread a few days ago iv been on the hunt for cute buckets....no luck so far! I am SOOOOO glad i saw this because others i saw used styrofoam and those things are pricey!

I put them in regular brown shipping boxes. Here's what I do.

I take a foam paper plate and cut a circle out of the bottom that is JUST big enough for the base of the container to fit inside of....then I flip the plate over and hot glue it to the bottom of the box.

The bottom of the plate (which is now on top) will be raised up off the bottom of the box by about 1/2" or more and then you can just stick the base of the cupcake container down inside of the hole you cut. Because it's foam it gives you a little wiggle room to get the container in there nice and snug and then you don't risk it tipping over.

Otherwise you can cut a hole in the bottom of a cardboard cake box that will fit snugly inside of your shipping box (I use shipping boxes because they're nice and tall and allow me to completely cover the bouquet, you could just use a bakery box if you don't feel the need to cover the entire bouquet)....cut a hole in the bottom of the bakery box and then close the lid on it and flip it over....then you'll have the hole to set your container down into, keeping it from wobbling/ flipping over!

as for the buckets, check out the Dollar Tree...........OR get a terra cotta pot and paint it to your own desires! They're generally only a dollar or two!

Depending on your size (mini or full sized) you can turn a windowed cake box on its side & slide them in & out.
Do you skip the Styrofoam ball?

yep, no styrofoam.......only plastic cups. I get a sleeve of 250 for under $3!! Can't beat that price! The 6" styrofoam balls are $6.00 at wal-mart here!!!

I tried the 2 oz cups and stapling them last night. What a disaster! Is there a specific way to staple them, or special instructions for this. I tried to get the 19 cups and they kept pulling apart and were tipped so far down, my cupcakes were almost upside down. I really want to make one of these!! icon_cry.gif

the 2 oz. cups weren't used for the 19 cup bouquet, well they were but I'll explain!

The 19 cup bouquet is done using a 5 oz. cup, it's a normal plastic drinking cup so it's tall (maybe 3 to 4" from top to bottom) you staple those together.

I hot glue the 2 oz. cups inside of the 5 oz. cups when doing the large bouquets (because I'm paranoid that the cc's will fall down inside the tall cups and get ruined), because the 2 oz. cups are short (maybe 1-1/2" tall top to bottom).

I used ONLY the 2oz. cups for the pink cc bouquet in the printed flower pot, it contained 7 normal sized cc's. Those were just simply stapled together with no trouble, but 19 of them won't staple together because (as you found out) the angle is off because of the height of the 2 oz. cups.

Here is a picture of the 19 cc bouquet with ONLY the cups....granted the edges of the cups have been covered up with tissue paper, but you can get an idea of how tall the cups are. HTH sorry I didn't explain it better before. Oh and I get the 5 oz. clear drinking cups at wal-mart I think they're in a pack of like 50 for $1.99!

the 2 oz. cups are almost exactlly the same diameter as the big cups so I just nestle and glue it right into the top of the 5 oz. cups..........I suppose you don't even have to glue them because they fit "just" inside the 5 oz. cups, but I'm paranoid like I said.......so I just want to make sure if I'm delivering it and I hit a bump that the 2 oz. cup won't try to pop out of the 5 oz. cup making my cc fall to the floor of my van lol
