I just spent a pretty scary week in the hospital. while most of my nurses were nice there was one in particular that went well above and beyond for me while I was there. I wanted to make her a "Thank you". I looked under "nurse" on CC but can't seem to find what i'm looking for! I'm between a nurse or medical theme or just a nicely decorated "thank you" cake. I can also do cupcakes or cookies just can't seem to find the right one. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Speaking as a retired nurse - i think i would prefer just a *pretty* cake.
It is amazing how many people think it is great/funny that every card - gift wrap - cake - joke - sticker - has to be about nursing -
It gets rather tiring after years and years of the same theme.

Altho i loved the many years of nursing - to be honest - i was so glad to get away from the whole nurse thing after an 11 hour shift.

Just the thought of recieving a *thankyou cake* will thrill her - it doesn't have to be medical - trust me.

Police really don't want a *police* cake
Teachers don't really want a *teacher* cake
Vets really don't want a *vet* cake

When we get them we smile and say - oh wow - thankyou - you really shouldn't have ...................................really icon_wink.gif
Because its the people making/ordering the cake who think - ohhh, that will be a great idea - but little do they know that that idea has been done ..... ..........to death. icon_rolleyes.gif

As a nurse, I would prefer something pretty. We like to see stuff NOT related to work!!!

As a nurse, I can tell you that she will be thrilled to receive anything as a Thank You gesture. Nurses aren't always told "Thank You." She'll love whatever you do!
