I want to make a royal icing Tiara, my question is what do I do it on parchment paper or wax paper? I just don't want to do it on the wrong paper and start to peel it off and it will not come off so any help would be very much appericated.

TIA, Diane

i think there is a tutorial on here and patterns in the gallery, i tried both, the parchment was better for me, but it still broke, you probably know the edges have to touch for strength, then i found out you need like 3 layers, dried in between, i've seen some beautiful ones, the second one started coming off really good then it broke ahhh alot of work, the next one i make it going to be out of gum paste/fondant, or just gum paste, and i'll give you a bump

Have you thought about using saran wrap? It comes off beautifully once the royal icing has dried completely.
