I've seen some beautiful cookies with baby faces on them. How are the rosy cheeks made? I'd love to try to do it, but i don't have a clue on how to get that look. Thanks in advance.... Maria icon_smile.gif

I make rosy cheeks on my gumpaste figures with either a dusting powder or a tiny dab of gel color on the tip of my finger. The dusting powders work best.

I dry brush rose colored luster dust in circles for the cheeks.

I use powder food colors / dusting colors to dry dust on the cheeks with a paint brush... rose pink, carnation pink...depends on how bright or light a color you want.

I apply my powder colors with a q-tip, something I learned from Cookiemookie.
