What Would Convince me to subscribe to this magazine

I have cancelled the other cake magazines that I used to get, took too long. But after spending time here, I realize everything you could ever want to know is online anyways. Forgive me, I'm not a part of this community but what is in this magazine that is so different or special? And for a lot of money I might add. Convince me to subscribe to this magazine.

idjiliak, I have sort of the same feeling. $60 (to me anyway) is a lot for a magazine subscription and I'm wondering what makes it worth it when it seems to me that that is what this forum is for. Sorry I can't convince you, but I'd be happy to hear what others have to say!

What magazine are we speaking of?


I do agree that with internet we can find everything we need on-line for just about any subject, for free.

Is this a cake magazine that you're referring to?

I'm speaking of cake central magazine. I don't think i posted my question right, it started a whole new topic? I meant for it to be on the post with the two women and their magazine. Sorry, I don't know how to do the forum stuff very well.

I just remember seeing things in the other magazines that I already knew about. It was kind of like what was the point of that?

Well, I have been thinking the same thing. When they did the initial survey about whether or not we would subscribe, I said "No". But I love this website so much I decided to give it a try for the first year and went ahead and subscribed. We'll see.

I've notice that you are new to Cake Central, As you may not now One of those Two Woman is Jackie the Creator of Cake Central and now the Creator of Cake Central Magazine. I don't think it is alot of money you get 10 for $60 that $6.00 an issue. with 2 of those being 2 month in one, so really your getting 12 issue so then that about $5 an issue.

That's my point why you should get it.

Well when you put it that way, $5 doesn't sound bad at all! Less than a pack of cigarettes, now those are getting expensive.

I haven't subscribed....but I would imagine that having the magazines for your cake photo collection would be good. I know the photos they are putting in them have to be original...never published online anywhere including on this website. So I know they are working hard to put stuff in there you can't find here, for the most part.
