ok, here's the latest mini cc bouquets I did this weekend (I didn't choose the colors lol)
I also took pics of how they were in the box.
For this one (I didn't have any foam plates) so I used cardboard circles ( I have a friend who's DH makes cardboard boxes for various computers, etc. and they punch out holes in the cardboard and fill dumpsters with them, so she saves bags of them and brings them to me in all different sizes!)
Anyhow............here is a pic of the box with the cardboard circle, with a hole cut out of it, and then it's hot glued onto 3 little 1 oz. cups (same cups used for the mini bouquets) and then the cups are hot glued to the bottom of the box. This allows the bouquet to sit down into the hole and keeps it from trying to topple over. I did use tera cotta pots so they weren't top heavy really, but it still keeps them in place. I went over several sets of railroad tracks to deliver these as well and up many hills and many sharp corners (I drove mindfully), they did shake around a bit but I didn't lose any cupcakes!
