Circus Tent Cake??

Hi all, Im doing a circus theme cake for my niece I saw this picture and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to make the top of the tent?? How can i achieve that peak? Im a beginner at this and trying to do something new rather than the plain old round cake. Please help!

You could use a bowl with a rather narrow bottom, cover it with plastic wrap and add cake, filling, cake until deisred height. Or just carv the shape you want, tort and fill it.

When I did mine, I used the wondermold pan, and then tweaked it from there. (shaved a little off until I got the right peak. Good luck. icon_biggrin.gif

When I did mine I used the giant cupcake pans. I added more layers to the bottom for more height and then carved the top down the sides for a thinner point.
