One of my students told me that she has a "secret recipe" She was told to put 3/4 to 1 cup of white cake mix into her buttercream icing along with
the sugar, crisco, and water....she said everyone swears by how wonderful it is. Does anyone do this?

Never heard of it - but mixing different things can usually bring yummy results! No egg in dry cake mix, so it's safe.
