I'm working on a cake for "Tomorrow Morning" and I need to print an image to put on it,, I've used my printer one time to print an image for a cake and it worked fine... I turn it on tonight and try to print and it's not printing right--the image I need to print is Blue and Red--when I hit print it just prints everything in a weird Green-ish tint,, no red or blue or even black what so-ever.. I know I'm not out of ink because I've only used it once.. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this problem? Thanks in advance..

i cant help with ur printer but you can run to sams and the will pprint you your sheets on the spot for $5.40 a sheet thats in TX. i have the sane peoblem and i will be there first thing in the morining. atleast you can keep moving till you get your printer up

When I don't use my printer often, I have to clean the cartridges about 5 or 6 times to get flow going again.

I clean the colors that aren't coming out with a warm rag. I also print a sample sheet (with hollow circles) in a bunch of colors once a day on plain paper to keep ink from building up when it is not in use. hth...

Take out the print head and run it under really hot water.. those things are such a pain!!

You guys are lifesavers!! DH cleaned the cartridges a couple of times and it worked! I learned something new tonight-- I will try to remember to give it a daily run. Thank you all so much. Can't begin to tell you how much Waffle paper wasted.

Doing a nozzle check when you have problems is helpful in determining which colors you are having problems with. It is important NOT to run more then 1-2 deep cleanings as it wastes a lot of ink and it fills your waste tank with the lost ink. If it doesnt print after your rinse it and run one or two deep cleanings, using regular non edible paper, print several sheets of a picture using those "trouble" colors. This should get the ink flowing and it wont use as much ink as deep cleaning will. Deep cleaning also tends to use all colors, not just the problem colors so you are wasting those colors as well.
