Help With Making First Lego Cake For A Client!!!!

i'm very new to doing cakes, well my boss wants a lego cake for his son, we saw this pic but what i need help with is how do u think the cakes are stacked, what i mean is if i use the fondant, do i have to put wooden sticks or cardboard to stacked the "legos" (cake) to make it look like there clicked together i dont know if they will sink or what, pls any help would be soooo helpful, thank you. The pic is from another cc user that we like i want to do the cake like that but i need ur help that in advance

Yes, you need to place dowels underneath each tier or the weight will cause them to sink, cause bulging and ruin your cake. Use a cake pan and a level to make sure you cut all of your dowels the same length.

Agree with CakeDiosa. You definitely need supports under each tier otherwise your cakes will collapse from the weight. This looks like a fun cake to do! Post pictures when you are done! icon_smile.gif
