I'm sure this has been asked before, but what consistancy should your icing be for a FBCT? It doesn't say in the how to section. I tried to do a search but I get a debugg error.

Thanks,

Judi

Ya know...I saw in one thread that folks were advising ppl to thin the icing out. I tried FBCT for the first time last night, forgot to thin it and it was fine. My outline and filling was medium consistency. I used Odessa's crusting buttercream and it worked beautifully!

Just like Tomoore, I don't think out my icing. I use a medium consistency crusting BC - thin enough to pipe easily but thick enough to hold its shape and it works just fine. I think you'd have to be careful about thinning too much or it would smudge.
