Does anyone know if the red Satin Ice Fondant will turn your mouth red? What about the other colored Satin Ice Fondant colors? Will that brand turn your mouth the color of the fondant?

I've had the red and it didn't seem to change the color of my mouth. But maybe it all depends on how much you eat!

Okay - just for you, I ate some red Satin Ice. My tongue is red, but there is no tell-tale discoloration on my teeth or lips. And, I ate enough for it to have discolored everything in sight icon_razz.gif . I knew that it made my hands rosy red when I work with it, but now we know the rest of the story icon_rolleyes.gif .

Depends on who is eating it! icon_wink.gif I made a Red Satin Ice covered b-day cake for a teenagers Twilight themed birthday and the teens purposefully used the fondant to make their mouths and lips blood red. I use it all the time for other cakes and have had no other reports of lip/mouth stainage!

Thanks all for your responses. I will let my customer know, as she is wanting a red wedding cake.
