Real Looking Edible Glitter

I'm not talking about luster dusts or cake sparkles (like the flakes of gelatin stuff). I keep seeing cake competitions on Food Network and they are using glitter that looks soooo real to me.
Does anyone know what this is? Where do we get it? What's it made from? HELP! icon_smile.gif

On my Edward/Twilight cake in my photos I used twinkle dust(hologram silver) on the lettering and bow. It looks just like real glitter.

I got some disco dust for Christmas and it looks like a very fine grained regular glitter. I don't think it's supposed to be edible though.

I've been experimenting with making my own edible glitter from a mix of gum arabic, airbrush color and a bit of wilton's pearl dust. So far I've managed some that looks like gold flakes, like the ones in goldschlager liqueur but it wasn't really twinkly-looking.
