I always use the nfsc with Toba Garret cookie glaze. It does dry after several hours or overnight, but I was wandering if I would have success trying to stencil on them? and what icing to use for that part? Thank you.
I've been looking at the work in here and decided to get back into cookies and cakes after taking a very long break from it. Oh my gosh at the new things and techniques!!!
Went ahead and tried it last night and it was a definate FAIL! When I pulled the stencils off of the glaze, the glaze came off with it. The glaze was dry to the touch, but gonna try one more time with some that dried overnight. I DON"T think it's going to work though. Worked great on my fondant cookies, but I love the look of the shiny glaze.
You mention that the glaze was dry to the touch when you tried stenciling. The glaze or ri must be completely dry (hard) before you try to stencil. As i learned from cookiemookie who does beautiful stenciling by the way, the consistency of the icing to stencil had to be thick like peanut butter. HTH
