Any suggestions on how to make edible guitar strings. Live in Florida. I thought about Isomalt sugar strings, but thought maybe they may melt in transport to the site. They have to be long and thin and tight looking. Also very durable. Most of all food safe for the cake. Thanks to everyone icon_biggrin.gif

I've seen Mike McCarry spray paint uncooked spaghetti silver.

Spaguetti is one way. Some people just piped them. An extruder will make them too.

I used grey MMF, the extruder and dry dusted the strings with silver luster dust. I put them on last. The strings had enough give to wrap around and not break. It worked really well!
