I will like you to bake me chocolate and Vanilla cake of 5 tier that can serve approximately 300 guest or more , and I want the cake to be decorated with pink roses and the cake should be covered in fondant or in butter cream, and there will be an inscription writing on the side of one of the tier as HAPPY MARRIED LIFE and i want you to pack them in different boxes to be ready for pick up at the said time and date.. 28th of Jan 2010, 3 O'clock PM. Reply me back and let me know if you can fill in the date for me....??? then i can forward all the details and the picture sample of what i will like you to bake for me.
Thanks and God bless.
Steven Nicole.

THE KICKER IS, this guy actually called me first, via a RELAY CALL! As if he were deaf (!) and asked if I had availability for next week, asked for our e-mail address, and told me to look for his e-mail!!
JEEZ, could you waste a little more of everyone's time?! AND using a phone service that is meant for the disabled to try to strengthen the credibility of the scam!! (Try using a new cake description, ya moron!)

ARRGH! (vent)

Sadly, scammers have been using the TTY/relay system for quite some time now. The truly sad part is that the relay person KNOWS it is a scam, but they are NOT allowed to hang up on the scammer OR to alert the receiver of the call that the person calling is a scammer. Why? Because, and this is the truly sad part, the scammers are the largest % of relay system users.

Trust me I know.. I used to work for a relay center and I hated every second when the internet relay calls would come in. Regular relay would be legit but the IP relay weren't. People would try to have puppies shipped cross country or overseas and it was just ridiculous..

We couldn't say anything because we would get written up or fired for tampering with the call.

Regardless of if it was about a business inquiry, a threat of physical harm or something adult rated. We had to deal with all of it.. definitely not easy. thumbsdown.gif
