Hey all!

I'll be coming to the Tucson/Oro Valley area to see family at the end of the month. Both my nieces' birthdays are coming up, and I'd like to make them a cake to celebrate while I'm there.

Do any decorators in the area have recommendations for shops with a wide variety of products, and GREAT customer service? My experiences thus far in trying to find places have been very disappointing.

In Tucson? Not that I'm aware of. If you don't mind the hour and a half drive, there's ABC Cake Supply in Phoenix. They have a great selection and the ladies who work there are super nice.

There is a place called Pat's cake supply that used to carry a lot of good stuff and had classes there. The original owner passed away and the lady who took it over, moved it to a different location and doesn't have quite the supply Pat had.

I would go to ABC in Phoenix. Although their customer service isn't stellar, it has gotten a lot better in recent months.

Thanks for that. I'll be flying into PHX, so perhaps I'll go into town and check it out before heading to Tucson. If I do, I'll let you know.

ASince its been awhile, I figured I would ask, any good stores in the tucson area? I've been to Pat's a couple times and will not be going back (terrible service and their "supplies" are only a few kinds of sprinkles, fillings, a couple of pans, and lots if cupcake toppers/layons). I do make the drive to up to Phoenix every two to three weeks to go to ABCs, but would really, really like to find something a little closer to home. :)
