Anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how much batter do I use and at what temp do i bake?

I have baked cakes in metal bowls before but not my KA bowl. Sorry but don't know how much batter you would need. I do know that you would need to bake at a lower temp like 325. Maybe someone can give you a little more advice. good luck

Been racking my brain with this one...I went from looking into buying the wilton wonder pan (which is overpriced for the size), to deciding to bake 3 8" round cakes, stacking and carving them into a semi circle for the dress skirt, to finally trying to figure out of i can back in my KA mixing bowl.
Im baking this cake today and i desperately need help!

I've never done this myself, but other CCers have. From what I remember of previous threads, I think the most common use has been for the doll cake since the KA bowl is the perfect shape for that. Can't remember how much batter they used, but if you do a CC search, I'm sure something will pop up.

I used a metal bowl to make my boober cake.I also lowered the oven temp to 325 and put a rose nail in the center of the bowl and added the batter( tip I learned on here on CC) I've also read you and bake in a pyrex bowl. HTH
