I have used 3 sets of these for many years and wish I had more. Although the newer designs are like 1 board with 3 different "waves" in it...this older model with its design is much...

Are there any plans to make a cloud-based version of cake boss, for example on the Force.com platform?
I would certainly be willing to pay a small monthly fee for an online version that was scalable based on number of orders instead of a one-time purchase.
An online version of CakeBoss is in the very early stages of development. It would be browser-based, and therefore accessible to people using any type of operating system. (I can hear all the Mac users cheering!) However, the fee structure has not yet been set.
It's still early though, y'all. I don't have a release date or anything even resembling one. Things are kind of chaotic here, to tell you the truth.

Sweet! We are in for it when it goes online for sure!
I know this is an old thread but after I purchased mine. The light bulb has gone off and wow all I have to say is that I was once undercharging like so many people. Now when a client emails or calls I can go on my computer punch in what I need and whalla it gives me the price. I don't have to pull numbers out of my butt. I used it to price a new product that I wanted to offer. I am able to more accurately price my cakes...now if the client would just be willing to pay the price then I could get some where..eh oh well one day.
I purchased the Cake Boss program, so far I love it. I just need to know how to put in my hourly wage, gas, electric and for packaging materials. I have put the packaging costs in the materials section, does it automatically add it to the cost? I have a customer that wants me to make Rum cakes for her but sell them to her at a little over cost, like wholesale. I would love to do it, but how do I do it using the software program?

For your hourly wage you can set it up in your preferences. Your gas and electric would be when you do an order, in the area that says overhead. When you set up your order it will have a tab that's for materials. I hope that I am explaining it correctly.
