I need some help! My wonderful boyfriend just bought me an airbrush kit, but I don't have any paint suitable for an airbrush. It being Christmas, all the stores are closed. I was wondering if there was a way to make my own airbrush paint. I have both gel and liquid food coloring, as well as water and various extracts.

I'd love any help y'all could give!

add some gel color to vodka (the cheap stuff)

I was wondering the same, then DH got me the mist colors for Christmas! Gotta fire it up today to quick coat a decoration for tomorrow. Thankfully, one color, no details- I figure "What can go wrong with that?" Now I am doomed.......(Have never used the airbrush before)
