SO I'm very confused. I heard something about Duff saying that you should just buy a hobby airbrush system for doing cake because it is cheaper and works just as good. Well I bought one and noticed a sign on the side of the COMPRESSOR (the airbrush and compressor came in one package) said "The Brass components may contain lead." Nowwwww... I've tried to find a more in depth explanation of what parts, etc, but I can't. I have read that the airbrush itself (even Kopykake's Airmaster for cakes) is made of brass with chrome-nickel plated finish. SO my question lies here.. do the hobby ones have brass components that could cause lead to get into the food or air as to where the cake designed ones don't? OR Is it just that all airbrushes are make with brass and covered in a nickel finish??? HELP! icon_cry.gif I would really rather not have to buy an entire new system, but I also don't want to poison anyone or myself!
