Hi everyone I was wondering if you guys can vote for the best food coloring in the market. I am trying to decide between americolor and chefmaster but any other brands will be considered as well.

I like Americolors.

Well, I have only tried Wilton and Chefmaster and I LOVE Chefmaster colors hands-down! I love that they come in a bottle with a squirt top and you only need a little color to achieve the look you want. I will not be going back to Wilton again. I have yet to try Americolor, although I have heard good things about it.

I have only tried americolor and witlon....AMERICOLOR all the way!! Their colors get nice and vibrant with only using a few drops!!

Love this topic...Personally, I'd love to get some feedback from those who use the powdered Crystal Colors? Anyone?

I've used Wilton, Cake Craft and Americolor. I love the Americolor ones. I use less and get a much better color. I'm finishing off my Wilton ones whenever I need less vivid colors.

For gel colors, I've only use Americolor and not planning on trying something else.

Americolor. Have not tried the Chefmaster, but have heard good things about them. The CK brand colors are good, too.

I've used them all, including americolor and chefmaster is the best. No waitinghours to get red or black, use very little and no bad taste.

I use mainly Americolor, but love Chefmaster too. I think Chefmaster black is the better of the two.

I've used them for dusting only. I haven't tried mixing them with anything but Beth said you can mix them in buttercream, royal, fondant and with alcohol. Maybe I need to remember to pull mine out sometime when I am coloring something. icon_wink.gif

I use both Wilton and Americolor and I like them both. There are certain colors I perfer in Wilton over the Americolor. I do like the squeze bottles to a point, but have no problem with dipping the toothpick in the Wilton ones, atleast then I can get out almost every drop of color. I do like that the Americolors do come in larger amounts so I can have those on hand (can't buy the locally) with out running out of them too fast.
