Thank you for taking the time to create the tutorial! These are sooo cute! My son's preschool is having a cookie exchange that I was sooo not looking forward to. I was actually just going to do little tiny package cakes (pah! I make cakes NOT cookies) but THEN I SAW THESE! SOLD! They are perfect and will be served up with love!

You have a great website, by the way, with some pretty AMAZING cakes!

Thank you so much for sharing! My mom (who would rather build things than be in a kitchen) asked me to bake cookies for her friend's cookie exchange and invited me to attend. She picked out her favorite type to have me make for her contribution, but I didn't know what I was going to take...until I saw these! I'm making them tomorrowicon_smile.gif I hope they turn out half as cute as these.

Someone asked if you can use refrigerated store bought cookie dough. It appears the answer is most definitely "yes". icon_smile.gif

I think it depends on how you plan to store them. If you make them, let them dry (the icing) and then store in a cool dry place in a tupperware or in a sealed bag, you should be good for a few weeks.

Thank you for this darling idea! I baked the cookies the other day and then followed your instructions to decorate three of them as a test run last night. They are so easy and so darned cute! I just have to remember to take it more slowly with thinning the RI, I over thinned my test batch and in 24 hrs it still wasn't hard icon_cry.gif.

Anyway I can't wait to finish the rest of these. Even with my overthinned RI they are SO CUTE and such great little gifts. Chippi your RI looks PERFECT!

Me and my nephew did some of these cookies last night. I haven't taken pictures of them yet, but they were super easy. We really had fun doing them! I used white royal icing for snow balls. icon_smile.gif

Thank You , I made these this weekend a snowy one at that, and they turned out really cute, I used the packaged sugar cookie mix from Betty Crocker, and they turned out really tasty , i added some of my own touches(: i would post a picture but i ate them all, well me and the next door neighbors kid's.
