Hello All!

In the coming weeks I will be rolling out some upgrades for cakecentral.com


I'm adding lots of cool features that you all having been asking for, for a very long time.

Such as saving and organizing "bookmarked" topics
Better Search
Member Profiles
and lots more - not just the forum, but everywhere

I am trying to keep the layout of things as close to "normal" as possible, as to not shock anyone into oblivion

But all of the new changes are going to solve a massive amount of bugs, add much needed and requested new features.

Try not to hate me! LOL change is scary for me too icon_smile.gif

nope, no redecoration in this round, purely function updates which includes a much needed update to the primary underlying code of the site.

The only layout changes will be minor adjustments where needed to support the updates.

Once the community is used to the updated functionality we will be looking at user interface updates to allow for the expansion plans in 2010.

Is there a way, or will you be working on a way to allow us to edit our desctiptions, keywords etc. I'd also like to be able to change a photo to the primary or rearrange the photos if I have more than one. I have yet to be able to delete just one photo as it deletes them all.

Thank you veyr much, this is an amazing site!

UPDATE:
Okay I figered out how to change the primary picture but still can't delete a picture without deleting them all. Any suggestions?

For those who are resistant to change, read "Who moved my cheese". As for me, I say "Yahoo". I can't wait to see the new changes and updates. I love this site and I know that Jackie and Heath do as well, or they wouldn't put up with all the issues that can arise from running it. My hat is off to you for all your hard work, and thank you for creating such a place where we can openly share information and ideas. Two big thumbs-up.
