I was told that MMF is not a good covering for cakes in Florida?? Has anyone experienced any problems, here? What is an alternative? I love the taste of MMF after adding flavors. And so do my grandkids when I make it in my summer home, IOWA. But Snowbirding in Florida I need some suggestions on buttercreme and fondants recipes to use.
Thanks, Sandy [email protected]

I live in Central Florida and I use MMF. What did you hear? Why wouldn't it be good?

I haven't used MMF often but I don't think I had any problems due to the weather. Even if humidity is a concern it's not quite as bad this time of year.

I live in Clearwater, originally from IA.

I live in Okeechobee Fl. Year round. I have never had a problem with MMF. I used it in my wilton class too. Everyone else bought theirs while I made mine...was much cheaper that way.

We use Fondarific which was designed in Savannah, GA----another hot, humid climate.
