I thought lets share it overseas icon_biggrin.gif

I bought a very cheap wooden tea box and painted it. then I sprayed it with a clear carspray to make it waterproof.
just a nice idea perhaps?
hope you enjoy it and maybe hope to see one from your hand thumbs_up.gif

So pretty! Did the box already have the dividers inside of it? If you made the dividers how did you make them?

What a lovely presentation of simply stunning cupcakes!

Upscale marketing IS all about fancy ass (technical industry term) packaging.

Especially like your sophisticated color palette. And the unexpected addition of decoration to the dividers is delightful.

Yes, I thought that (to keep the tea bags organized)...but I didn't think they came decorated to match the outside of the box. icon_lol.gif

Absolutely lovely. What a PERFECT Christmas gift. Of course your hand painted box is so beautiful on its own, it would make a great gift all by itself. With the beautifully matching cupcakes, it's just over-the-top awesome. Thanks for sharing!

it is both acryllic and dies like plastic. I don't think it is foodsafe, or not foodsafe. but if you paint it first en let it dry very good (the smell is away one day after the lacquer), I think it can do no harm. evenso, the cc are wrapped in a cc-paper so it does not touch the paint. so I really think there is nothing wrong with it.

just curious, how much do you sell them for??? I'm thinking in the US you could easily get $20.00 for 6 cupcakes like that (probably more than that, but I normally charge $1.00 each for those cupcakes....so i'm guessing you could charge 3 X's your normal cost with a box like that to put them in!)

That is sooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful!!!!
