I would think that moist and 2 days old are mutually exclusive.

1- box cake mix
1 - 4oz pkg complimentary flavor of pudding (e.g. choc fudge pudding for choc cake mix...vanilla for yellow cake mix, ect.)
1/2 c oil
1/2 c water
1 c sour cream
4 eggs

batter will pretty thick, so it will take longer to bake than typical mix. moist, dense cakes. i've done this with chocolate (and added two tablespoons of (1 serving package) disolved instant coffee to chocolate batter to enhance the chocolate flavor). just used this recipe this weekend for a key lime cupcake (yellow cake base) and they were really good too. hope this helps.

I always use the WASC recipe. It makes a moist cupcakeicon_wink.gif I also use different variations of the recipe for different flavors. Instead of add 2 cups of sugar, add 1 cup plus 2 boxes of raspberry (or your favor flavor) jello. It makes a great cake or cupcakes.

Now why add the sour cream? Is it more for flavoring or is it suppose to make cake more moist in addition to flavor pudding?
