I am so upset, I made a 3-d monkey cake for a baby shower and I was driving to drop it off an hour before the shower, hit a large pothole and one of the arms and an ear fell off!!!! Of course not enough time to fix it and I didn't have any supplies with me either. I apologized profusely and am refunding the money for the cake, should I do anything else? I also made 30 cupcakes for the shower which turned out beautifully, should I refund for those also? I'm probably being harder on myself than I should be but I feel so bad!! icon_cry.gif

Of course you feel bad. Anyone would.
Learn from this.........always take a repair kit w/you!
Your have done MORE than what was required. Do NOT refund any more money icon_smile.gif
They will still get to eat the cake - it just won't look as good as you wanted.

I agree..concerning the cupcakes..they turned out beautifully so why refund them. Don't feel bad its not your fault and I know you just hated for your work to just become destroyed. Did you take any pics, I'd love to see em. I agree always take a repair kit. But we newbies are just learning together. So know you know what to do.
