I have noticed on everyones pics that u get nice full level rising cupcakes - how??? I have tried loads of things, is it to do with how much mixture?? Mine are sometimes not rising to the top or they rise unlevel?? Its really annoying

Are you using a measuring cup to make sure you're getting the same amount of batter in each cup?
I use an ice cream scooper and they always come out even and same height. However, when doing chocolate cake, put a little less than what you would normally use for vanilla. Chocolate rises a little higher than vanilla.

I made some the other day that had a small dome and i wanted a flat top. a couple of minutes after i took them out of the oven i put a paper towel on top of them and pressed the dome down. it worked.
