I was looking at that to Tracy! Might be a good idea for someone like me that seems to have a problem with getting in the way of herself LOL!!

I didn't realize they sold extension rods. icon_surprised.gif I definitely think that would help. Sometimes, no matter how high i go with the projector i still can't get it clear enough. The i have to fiddle around with my actual clipart until it works. The extension rod would be very helpful indeed. Thanks for telling us about it. My dh bought the projector for me as a gift so i never did see all the 'extras' you could buy for it.

Can you use this projector for cakes as well. Can you give me some decorating details of how to use it for cakes.

Tracy: Ditto on thinking the extension rod would be a good addition. Although I had very little problem getting a sharp image without it on my Christmas mouse cookies. LOVE my newest toy!

I got a really good deal on my 300...I found an additional 20% off code and it was under 150. Flat rate low shipping, it arrived super fast, great customer service when I called them pre-order with questions. I'll find the link and post where I got mine.

Oh! Oh! Oh! icon_biggrin.gif That would be so great, CookieO! I am looking to order very soon as I have a complicated cookie coming up.

Do you find the 300 gives enough light? A dimly lit area might be a problem for me. I see the 1000 has more light, but there is the cost differential.

Thanks again for finding where you got it and the coupon, if you have that. It would really help a lot! thumbs_up.gif

Tracy, the 300 light is plenty for my use. I had all my window blinds open in my house (as always, I dont like my house dark), with the exception of my patio door next to the table I was working on. It was partially open, and I turned the over head light off. I had no problem at all.

With the price diff on the higher wattage models, I couldn't pass up the great price on taking the 300 choice. I originally wanted to get the one I could lay books on, but I have 2 scanners & three printers that I use for my photography and scrapbooking hobbies...so the big price difference I couldn't really justify & didnt make sense just for that feature. lol

I'll get that info to you. Not sure if they currently have a coupon code, but register to get their emails, they send them out that way too.

Could someone please recommend a good site that has clipart you've used with the projector? I'm only finding stuff that has too much detail for me to get accurate piping.

CookieO.....wow your cookies are awesome. Would you give me a quick tutorial, how you do the image with the projector? I understand, first you draw with edible color pen, then outline with small tip (1 or 0), then flood? Example the Mouse holding the gift, how did you do the hands, bow on the gift and the Mouse? Those little details needs to be draw freehand? I am tying to get idea how it works. Thank you.

I would think that coloring pages for kids would be a great source of images to use.

LOL! I have an extension rod and have never used it!! I guess I'll have to try it out soon icon_smile.gif
Oh, and to the person who asked about the projector and cakes- YES you can use it!!! It's great for writing out messages (perfectly spaced and NEAT), and the base of the projector will hold a sheet cake.
