Has anyone here ever tried the cupcake carrier that you can get from walmart? I want to get one, however, I read the reviews, and one person said that the top level sags onto the bottom level of cupcakes, therefore ruining the frosting... icon_sad.gif

So I was wondering if any of you have had this experience... Thanks!

I purchased some of the clear plastic containers directly from the bakery at my local walmart. I think they were 38 cents apiece.
I have one of the double-decker containers. The bottom section is too deep and I can't get the cupcakes out without messing them up.

I have that same exact cupcake carrier and the top definitely does sag and touch the top of the cupcakes on the bottom layer! Also, after a couple of uses, one of the locks on the side broke off. I would definitely not buy it again.

I just bought some plasltic cupcake carriers at Target and they are awesome. They are stackable (just leave the top off and stack) - similar to some of the craft storage bins they have. They have cupcake inserts that can be removed and/or turned over to create 2 levels to stack cookies. Very slick and sturdy.

Hummmm icon_smile.gif Sounds like I will have to give the carrier from target a try. Thanks for your responses, saved me from wasting $18 on a frosting squashing carrier! :-p

The Cupcake Courier is the BEST for carrying cupcakes - holds 36 of them...very strong, doesn't sag, lots of space between the layers, and has really nice and deep holes for them to set down into, but not so much that you can't get them out. I got mine off of Amazon.com, but have seen them since at Bed Bath and Beyond on occasion.

I have to agree. The Cupcake Courier is fantastic. They have them at Amazon. I got mine at Home Goods for just $20. I'm just mad I didn't take both of them that they had. But I'm loving the one.

I agree! I bought two of these and they are absolutely perfect. Very sturdy. I bought mine at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and even used my 20% coupon!
