Getting Transfer Of Writing Correct, Help!!!!
Decorating By Pinky Updated 2 Mar 2005 , 1:22pm by thecakemaker
Hi!
I am trying to figure out how to get a "Get Well Soon" printed off of my computer with mirror image the correct way. Any suggestions, I know that this is easily done, but this is my first time and need some help! Not good at free hand cursive and printed out a beautiful font with these words and would love to use it TODAY!
Thanks!

I have a Lexmark 6100 series printer and I use Windows XP. With my setup, all I have to do is hit print, go into preferences, and there is a tab that says "Layout." From there I can choose the "mirror" setting. This is how I've done it in the past. Perhaps your setup has a similar setting.
If you are using publisher you can click on flip horizontal and it will be reversed.
Hope this helps, : )

Do you have XP or something older? If you have something older, click here:

(You will move ahead 4 pictures)
This will work regardless of which software you are using.
Thanks! I was over at a friend's house and her computer was not working correctly. I think it was older! We figured it out, her DH showed us what to do. Lucy and Ethel with Ricky!
Thanks Dawn, I will go look at what you suggested as well. At home I haveCorel Draw, my husband and I used to work for ad agencies and have lots of equipment for drawing and designing! I can't wait to get to it!
Thanks again everyone, I love this site!!!

boy, does this ever bring back memories...of me struggling to figure out how to print in mirror image using xp...remember cali4dawn? lol for those of you out there, GET RID OF XP! you're better off without it!
I DO NOT like XP! It came with my new computer ~ of course I haven't been able to print since I got the new computer either! I have a great printer scanner at home and even with the new XP compatible software I had to buy for it - it still won't communicate with XP.
I learn everything the hard way!

I have XP Professional- I love it way better than 98. It's a hell of a lot more stable than 98, and way better than NT was. I think of XP as having the security of 2000 but the ease of use like 98. And I have only heard BAD things about ME- not to mention there is hardly any support for ME or for 98. I have a computer game that was made to run it 98, but it runs way better in XP.
Debbie- what kind of printer do you have? You shouldn't have to buy software for it to make it work. Let me know maybe I can find the right drivers for you that you need.
I have an HP T45 All in One. It's a great printer, scanner, fax with very nice picture printing abilities. The tell me it's "old" because it was purchased 4 years ago. I'm sorry ~ I did not spend several hundred dollars on a home printer to replace it every couple years! Because the original software was pre-XP I went to the HP website and downloaded the XP driver. It did not work after an hour of downloading (i still have dial-up at home) so I ordered the new driver on disk - $10 or so. I installed it - it still doesn't work! I'm very aggrivated - the new computer cost plenty - I don't have the $$$ to pay someone to come out and try to figure out why this thing won't work!
Let me see what I can find for you for some solutions. Can you either post your email address or PM me your email address? That way I can email you a list of solutions for you to try. Thanks.
just a question...thecakemaker, have you checked to make sure the new printer is now the default printer? I ran into the same problem during a switchout with a printer...my sister helped me on that one and I was sooooo glad!
Debbie, What's really bad is when you do locate the problem it turns out to be something very simple....but aggravating! Hope you locate the problem soon.
